1969 Dodge Daytona. This is a real '69 Dodge Daytona that we found about two years ago. Since then, we've been collecting some of the parts to build it, but we have decided to sell this project car. Original specs were for a 440 4-bbl and automatic transmission. Red exterior and white stripe with white interior. This would appear to be a very rare color combination. The body numbers match the VIN plate and fender tag, which are both included.
No motor or transmission was included when the car was found. The fenders, hood and nose are not original. The fenders and hood are from a Charger, but the steel pieces to modify the fenders are included. The nose appears to be an early 80's reproduction, and most likely not NOS. The front windshield and a-pillar chrome are missing, but the remaining chrome is included.
This car was media blasted and sprayed with black sealer for storage. Parts of the floor and the trunk pan will need to be replaced. However, the frame rails, torsion boxes, and the majority of the body are free of rust. Many parts are included such as new quarter panels, original console, original tail lights, original light buckets, gauge cluster, and new exhaust tips. View the pictures to see everything that is included.
